U40-4994; 1944 Brassiere and Panties

7-piece digitally-drafted pattern originally by Simplicity, 'The brassiere is styled with two front darts set in the under piece and finished with either bias binding or bias facing. The (Style 1) panties feature a three-button opening and are hemmed at the lower edges.  Style 2 (has regulation placket and) is trimmed with lace'.

This version of the pattern comes with a ribbon strap guide, unlike the vintage original pattern.

3/4" seams are given at underarm (all side) and 1/2" seams are given on all other edges.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS: Lingerie crêpe, Muslin, Poplin, Satin, Crêpe.

Sizes:

Size set A fitting 14-20 (32" to 38" bust, 26" to 32" waist, 35" to 41" hip).

Size set B fitting 40-46 (40" to 46" bust, 34" to 40" waist, 43" to 49" hip).
